It is the policy of Scottish Rugby that children can begin their introduction to training and playing contact rugby from the age that they enter their 4th year of primary school.

We train on Sundays at Goldenacre between 1.30 and 3pm and there are regular fixtures, tournaments and social events, culminating in the annual P7 Dublin Tour, always a fantastic event for the young and not so young.

Players can join whether they have played the game before or not.

We have SRU certified coaches who can help children learn the basics or hone the skills they already have. All our coaches are PVG licenced.

Players must only play contact rugby with players of their own age grade unless the player is permitted to play outside it. In exceptional cases, a player’s physical development, skill level and experience may be such that the player may be allowed to participate in a higher age grade.
