How did you come to play rugby at Heriot’s?
I joined Heriot’s after being referred by friends at Heriot-Watt University who were already playing at the club.
What do you enjoy about being a Heriot’s player?
The thing I enjoy most about being a Heriots player is that no matter which team you’re in everyone gets on together and there is a little to no feeling of hierarchy at all. This is most obvious by the support each team shows for each other and followed by the serious love for social events all teams go to throughout the year.
When did you start playing rugby and why?
I started rugby when I was at prep school aged eight, but was always more football. It wasn’t until I was probably 14 or 15 when I started to take it a bit more seriously as I loved the difference in physicality compared to football.
What is your favourite rugby memory?
My favourite rugby memories are both back at school and either beating Stowe in NatWest Schools Cup quarter final or beating Sedbergh at Sedbergh.
