How did you come to play rugby at Heriot’s?
‘‘I moved to the capital for work and my former coach at West of Scotland RFC, Andy Douglas recommended joining the Nails. I also knew a few boys that are currently at the club and former players, all of which had only positive things to say about the club!’’
What do you enjoy about being a Heriot’s player?
‘‘The “One Club” mentality shared amongst everyone involved at Heriot’s is fantastic. Players from different teams are always down supporting if they haven’t got a game, everyone stays behind after training on a Thursday for their dinner and a chat – to name a just a few good vibe aspects.’’
When did you start playing rugby and why?
‘‘Started playing for the Primary 1/2 “Wee Blues” in Kirkcaldy, after a failed attempt at learning football!’’
What is your favourite rugby memory?
‘‘The Glasgow Rugby Varsities are excellent memories, they drew out big crowds, had a great buzz and it was a bonus to be on the winning side.’’
