All of us at Heriot’s Rugby Club were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Scott Hastings.

An icon of world rugby, Scott was a fierce competitor on the pitch and a true gentleman off it. While proudly a Watsonian, we at Heriot’s were fortunate to share in many memorable moments with Scott at Goldenacre, where conversations on the rugby matters of the day were always enjoyed.

Our sincerest condolences go to Scott’s family, friends, and everyone at Watsonians during this difficult time.
