Tomorrow Heriot’s Blues Men 1st XV are at home facing Glasgow Hawks.
COACHES COMMENTS:
Charlie Simpson drops out and is replaced by the returning Charlie Dineen. Leo Gordon returns into the middle row for the injured captain Callum Bell, while last years player of the season. Ali Johnstone, makes his long awaited return form injury. The rest of the squad is settled.
We are hoping Hawks will underestimate us as much as Iain Morrison
had last weekend, however, I’m sure Andy Hill will have his squad
fully charged for the trip to Goldenacre. Hawks bring a real physical
challenge to the fixture calendar and we know we will need to add
even more to last week’s output, which the boys are prepared to do
with a week off in waiting for them. Finally, the club were delighted
to have Murray McCallum down this week topping up his fitness levels,
and wish him every success with what lies ahead for him, good luck
Murray.
