Cammy Hutchison to start for Edinburgh Rugby on Sunday

Our very own, centre Cammy Hutchison – who debuted from Edinburgh Rugby, just last week – earns promotion from the bench and will make his first start for Edinburgh Rugby when they play Scarlets, in Wales on Sunday.

This is great news for Cammy, he has played so well for Heriot’s Rugby Club. Most recently Cammy has been playing with our semi-professional FOSROC, Super6 squad. He was even awarded 3 Player of the Match awards from eight starts during the inaugural season.

All of us at Goldenacre are so proud of Cammy, he has really trained hard, to take the step up to Pro Rugby. This is all despite lockdowns and restrictions in place due to the pandemic.

Iain Duckworth, President of Heriot’s Rugby Club said:

“We are absolutely delighted with Cammy’s transition through Heriot’s to the professional game. He really is a joy to watch. The try at Murrayfield last week was exactly what we have seen of Cammy whilst playing for Heriot’s. He is so fluid in his game and he is definitely one to watch. We are so proud. Good luck from all of us”
