Heriot’s Rugby Club select Samurai for match day, training and leisure kit

Heriot’s Rugby Club has selected Samurai Sportswear for all its official match day, training and leisurewear kit in a three-year deal. Samurai will take over from current kit supplier O’Neills in time for the new 20/21 season.

The partnership will see all Heriot’s players, coaches and other club staff wearing kit designed and manufactured exclusively for the club by Samurai. Heriot’s is one of the FOSROC Super6 franchises, the new semi-professional competition in the Scottish rugby structure.

Speaking at the announcement of the deal, Colin McCallum, President of Heriot’s Rugby Club said:

“Heriot’s Rugby Club is delighted to enter into this new partnership with Samurai.  We are excited to soon unveil our high-quality match day, training and leisure clothing range we have developed with Samurai for our players and supporters. As a club we are looking forward to rugby resuming at Goldenacre and to see our teams training and playing in their new kit.”

Speaking about the partnership, Terry Sands, CEO of Norfolk, UK-based Samurai Sportswear, said:

“We are proud to welcome Heriot’s Rugby Club to the Samurai family. As one of the most senior clubs in the Scottish Union, along with their amazing history and progressive outlook across the men’s, women’s and junior game, we are honoured to have been selected. We look forward to serving their players and staff, as well as the thriving supporter base at Goldenacre.”
