FOSROC Super 6 Rugby is back under the new name Super Series!
Heriot’s Rugby begins their Sprint 2023 campaign tomorrow as they welcome Edinburgh Rugby A to Goldenacre.
Coaches Comments:
“The starting pack has a familiar feel to it having all played for Heriot’s Rugby previously. The backline sees 3 players set to make their debuts – Mikey Gray, Aidan Boyle & Cam Jones and a further 3 players will make their debuts from the replacements bench – Euan McVie, Wallace Nelson & Grant Hughes.
With a few exceptions, we have largely rewarded the players who have done the bulk of our pre season work. They have prepared well and deserve the first crack.
There’s been a fair amount of change for this group since last season however, we couldn’t have planned a better way to start this new era. A loaded Edinburgh ‘A’ side at Goldenacre is a mouthwatering prospect and we cannot wait to get out there on Saturday.
The weather looks good, there is a whole host of family fun planned and I am sure there will be a number of the Edinburgh Rugby stars in attendance, what better way to spend your easter weekend!!! We hope there will be a great crowd at Goldie and we are looking forward to putting in a first performance that we can all be proud of.”
The game kicks off at 5pm after our Easter Family Fun Day activities starting from 3:30pm!
