A £50 voucher and delivery has been donated by Crombie’s of Edinburgh for the lucky winner of the latest Heriot’s Rugby Club prize draw.

Crombie’s of Edinburgh have been a sponsor of Heriot’s Rugby Club for several years supplying vouchers to players awarded Nail of the Month.
The butcher, located at 97 Broughton Street, has continued operating throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Owner Sandy Crombie, has adapted his business to best serve customers.
Within the new guidelines Sandy has altered business hours at the shop (available on the website) with deliveries available to customers within Edinburgh from EH1 to EH17.
Deliveries from the butcher shop now include fresh vegetables and bread, making life easier for customers, especially those at higher risk to COVID-19.
Customers collecting their orders are asked to queue, while social distancing, with only four customers allowed inside at one time.
‘‘Initially we were completely overwhelmed with the volume of trade,’’ Sandy said.
‘‘We have reduced shop hours so we can put together our deliveries.’’
Sandy believes the community has been ‘pulling together’ through the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.
‘‘I am now 80 so I have been isolating at home,’’ he said.
‘‘It is very frustrating, normally I am out and about. The garden has never looked so good.’’
