Heriot’s Rugby Head Coach Andrew Kelly recruiting final positions in management team

Heriot’s Rugby Head Coach Andrew Kelly is recruiting two voluntary Team Manager positions for the Goldenacre-based FOSROC Super6 franchise.

The former Edinburgh Rugby player moved back home in February to begin in his new role after playing and coaching at top Hong Kong club Valley RFC for eight years.

While the upcoming rugby season has been placed on hold Andrew hopes to finalise his management team for the 2020/21 season with the two key voluntary positions.

Currently, the Heriot’s Rugby Super6 coaching team consists of Forward Coach, former Glasgow Warrior hooker, Fin Gillies and Strength and Conditioning Coach Jordan Welsh.

The role will require the successful candidates to volunteer two nights a week and each Saturday of the Super6 campaign of the season both home and away.

‘‘This is a great opportunity for anyone who is a keen rugby enthusiast that would like to be part of Heriot’s Super6 ambitions,’’ Andrew said.

‘‘The skills that can be learned in this role are leadership and organisation. The successful applicants will learn how a Super6 squad trains and plays.’’
