JOIN HERIOT'S RUGBY CLUB
For the first time I find myself approaching the new season with a different view point, that of a spectator and fan. I now get to see what life is like on the other side of the white paint and I want to encourage other Heriot’s Rugby Club supporters to join me in buying a membership for the 24/25 season.
It’s exciting times at Goldie with transitions happening again after the conclusion of the Super Series. The men’s section, is going from strength to strength, both in terms of playing numbers and coaching quality. As we move towards the new Premiership season there is a lot of excitement in the group that we can challenge on all fronts. When the Super Series started, we at Goldenacre, managed the transition superbly and kept strong links between the squads. This meant the change to a new Premiership model has been smooth and much easier to manage.

The women’s section is growing and developing all the time, which can be evidenced by the players we had selected for the representative sides in the latter part of last season. A new season brings new challenges and we are always delighted to see new faces down, growing the depth and competition for places.
The junior section has fantastic depth on the playing side and a continued commitment from the many coaches and volunteers who help week to week. This can only bode well for the future of the senior sides. We are offering a new Junior Parent membership for the 24/25 season with details available on our website.

Off pitch the social scene is as strong as ever with a host of pre-match lunches and post-match social events planned. Over the last few seasons the nature of the Super Series fixtures meant a disconnect in timings between this and the club season however with the new Premiership structure both men’s and women’s seasons are fully aligned.
With this in mind, this request is to see as many of you back at Goldenacre over the coming season as possible, supporting the club though a membership and our teams on the pitch. The rugby on show is guaranteed to be of a typical Heriot’s ‘joue’ nature and the support we get from the members and fans is key and always appreciated.
So whether you are a regular, an occasional, a past member or looking for something new, Goldenacre is the destination for the coming the months. Take a look at the many benefits our different memberships have to offer to show your support for Heriot’s Rugby Club for what will be an exciting 24/25 season.
