On Saturday 14th October 2023, Ronan Seydak ran out at Goldenacre for his 50th appearance as part of the Super Series team, Heriot’s Rugby. Ronan is the first player at the club to do so.
He has had 39/50 Starts, he has started 29 out of the last 30 matches and includes 22 consecutive starts.
Ronan started playing at Heriot’s Rugby Club in 2019 back when the competition was Super6, he joined Heriot’s Rugby from Edinburgh Accies.
We would like to congratulate Ronan on this achievement.
Ben Cairns, Heriot’s Rugby Head Coach Said “We are delighted that Ronan becomes our first player to reach fifty appearances. Ronan is one of our most consistent and committed trainers and the amount of starts included in his 50 appearances is testament to how important he has been for this club since the start of Super6. With the Wolves match being rescheduled, it was a really fitting occasion on Saturday for Ronan to reach this milestone – a big win against the current league leaders and a side we hadn’t beaten since March 2020 ”
When asked about his achievement, Ronan said “I am incredibly proud to have reached my 50th game, and being the first makes it feel that bit more special. I was lucky enough to have lots of my family and friends down on Saturday and couldn’t have asked for a better game/ result to help celebrate the milestone.”
